Revelations 12:11 (ESV) tells us, “And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.”
Among the last words in scripture are instructions for telling our story to others. Not because we are great storytellers. Not because our stories allow us to be the hero (she-ro) of our own narrative. Because those who hear our story, the tales of how we have managed and continue to manage our life’s paths and choices, realize they are not alone, they are not losing their mind, and most important, they have Hope in Christ.
In the days to come, I want to inspire you to OVERCOME. I want you and I to walk together with the Word of God in one hand and God’s plan for our future in the other. Using our mutual stories to unpack burdens, to don the cloaks of purpose, and to present a chronicle of hope to a world in desperate need of the hope that begins and ends with Christ.
Will you walk with me?
